His heart of humility...I want to be there. I've been thinking about how much I think I deserve, which makes me ungrateful for the many undeserved blessings I do experience from His hand each day. Thanks for sharing this prayer of Jacob. <3
Yes, yes, your comment is exactly how I felt when I read it; how I want to pray like this. He remembered who he was, he remembered God's promises, he remembered what God had been faithful to do so far, etc. So rich and deep!
Mmm, amen to that. I've been smothered in promises and reminders of this Fatherly love lately. Thank you for pointing that out--it's needed and timely for me now!

DeleteThough we be unworthy of the least, He still moves us through greatness. Only a Fathers love does that. Beautiful piece of scripture!
